Monthly Roundup: Get Your C&M Tickets | Transaction Privacy | New IG Profile
June 2026
We are pleased to announce that Capitalism & Morality Calgary is confirmed for September 12. Paz Gómez and I are working overtime to make this a historic event, and we anticipate 200 dynamic attendees.
In addition to a great time, our intent is to offer a forum for the ideological foundations of the Alberta nation. My own short talk will be on the Free Nation Project, which has inspired me to return and make a home among the cowboys and bison. Many inspirational speakers have accepted invitations and put their trust in us, and James Ostrowski will give the keynote address. Here is my review of his book on progressivism.
If you would like to purchase tickets at capitalismandmorality.com, we have two options: regular (CAN$200) or VIP (CAN$500). My discount code is FERGUS10. The VIP option includes a dinner with the speakers on September 11, the eve of the event—along with reserved seating at the front and priority registration. If you are interested in sponsoring, be that purely for branding or for a place in the bustling exhibit hall, here is our prospectus.
If you are a paying Econ Americas subscriber, email me directly for the steepest discount available (20 percent). Now might be a good time to join that community for full access to our content and preferential treatment with our networking events in the Americas.
Our content over the past month has focused on privacy and autonomy with transactions. For better and for worse, that means finding modern alternatives that replicate the benefits of cash but function online. We are releasing these insights as audio chapters, and I am open to feedback as I work with our producer to make them digestible.
The content landscape is evolving at a rapid clip, and rising AI slop does not impress me. Finding the right platform for engagement is tricky. Substack will continue to be the central Econ Americas platform. However, for day-to-day and creative posts on financial sovereignty, we plan to focus on Instagram. Please follow our new account: @econamericas.
