Monthly Roundup: Private-Market Access | Mining-Exec Wisdom | Agorism First Steps | New MBA Chapter
April 2026
My colleague Paz Gómez stepped up to the plate in April with three important analyses on how to (1) participate in broader private markets, (2) use crypto anonymously, and (3) interpret jurisdictional rankings for mining.
On my end, I have been focused on getting Financial Sovereignty for Canadians converted to audio. As of today, the first eight chapters, along with the preface and introduction, are available on the Econ Americas YouTube channel.
Further, I am pleased to be back in Colorado and working on the MBA book project. My latest chapter explains the merits of internships, including unpaid ones. It goes in the Opportunities section, after Challenges and Mechanics. My next chapter addresses price discrimination and the b-school money-making formula.
Later this month, I will be back in Alberta, and I plan to host a Calgary event on May 25 after the Wilson-Kenney debate with the Aristotle Foundation. Once confirmed, I will let paying subscribers know, and Insider members will receive complimentary admission.
My time over the next six months will likely go heavily towards Alberta independence. If you have ideas for Alberta investments or employment opportunities for prospective residents, do not hesitate to let me know. Many Canadian expats, in particular, are excited about the new nation.
